Instructions

Step 1/3

Prepare the Mashed Potatoes

  • 250g Potatoes
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 1 tbsp Butter

Place the diced potatoes in a pot of salted water and bring to a boil. Cook for about 15 minutes or until the potatoes are tender. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add the butter and milk, then mash until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Keep warm.

Step 2/3

Cook the Liver

  • 150g Liver
  • 1/2 Small Onion
  • 1 Garlic Clove
  • 2 tsp Olive Oil

Pat the liver dry with paper towels. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic and cook for an additional minute. Push the onions and garlic to the side of the skillet and add the liver slices. Season with salt and pepper to taste and cook the liver for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until browned and cooked through. Be careful not to overcook, as the liver can become tough.

Step 3/3

Assemble the Dish

  • 1 tbsp Parsley

Plate the mashed potatoes. Top with the cooked liver and onion mixture. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
