Instructions

Step 1/4

Cook the Beef

  • 1 tsp Olive Oil
  • 150g Ground Beef

Heat a pan over medium-high heat with avocado oil. Add the ground beef with salt and pepper to taste and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until it is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat from the pan.

Step 2/4

Prepare the Filling

  • 1 Garlic Clove
  • 1 tsp Grated Ginger
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Hoisin Sauce
  • 1 Small Carrot
  • 1/4 Red Bell Pepper
  • 5g Green Onion
  • 1 tsp Lime Juice

Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the same pan with the cooked beef and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the soy sauce and hoisin sauce. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the mixture is well combined and heated through. Add the finely diced carrot, bell pepper, and green onions. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender but still crisp. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add the lime juice and mix well.

Step 3/4

Assemble the Lettuce Wraps

  • 4 Lettuce Leaves

Wash and pat dry the lettuce leaves. Spoon the beef and vegetable mixture evenly onto each lettuce leaf. Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired.

Step 4/4

Serve

Arrange the lettuce wraps on a plate and serve immediately.
