Instructions

Step 1/4

Prepare the Gnocchi

  • 150g Gnocchi, Uncooked

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the gnocchi and cook according to the package instructions, usually about 2-3 minutes or until they float to the surface. Drain and set aside.

Step 2/4

Cook the Ground Beef

  • 1 tsp Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Small Onion
  • 1 Garlic Clove
  • 150g Ground Beef

While the gnocchi is cooking, heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute. Add the ground beef to the skillet and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until it’s no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.

Step 3/4

Prepare the Sauce

  • 120g Canned Diced Tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp Dried Basil
  • 1/4 tsp Dried Oregano

Add the canned diced tomatoes to the skillet with the ground beef. Stir in the dried oregano and dried basil. Simmer for about 5-10 minutes, allowing the flavors to combine and the sauce to thicken slightly.

Step 4/4

Combine and Serve

  • 15g Grated Parmesan
  • 3g Fresh Basil

Add the cooked gnocchi to the skillet with the sauce and ground beef. Stir well to coat the gnocchi with the sauce and heat through for about 2 minutes. Serve topped with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil.
